  • Child pension is 39,696 ISK per month with each child

  • TR pays child pension when there is confirmation that the child's paternity will not be established
  • Child pension is paid if a child is conceived through artificial insemination. Confirmation from the relevant institution must accompany the application

  • Child pension is paid to parents or those who are financially responsible for the child/children
  • Parents with a disability grant can receive a child supplement (75% of the child pension)

Child pension is not income-related and is not suspended even if pension payments are suspended due to income.
